   These connectors are easy to use with the proper tools. They seem to be of high quality but may not work well with older coax.

   I purchased these connectors along with the VT-200-R compression tool. After stripping the RG6 cable, I tried to put the connectors on but they would only go about half way with a lot of twisting and pushing. If you are having the same problem, try using a hair dryer (set on hot) and heat up the black rubber of the cable. Estimate the length of cable that the compression fitting needs and heat that much of the cable for about 45-60 secs. The cable will become a little softer. The fitting should then slide right in. It helped me out.
