Cat 5e Feed-Thru connectors are single piece connectors that use the same assembly process. Open-end Feed-Thru connectors offer several advantages over standard closed end connectors. Conductor order can be verified prior to crimping. Conductors that Feed-Thru the connector are inserted far enough to be pierced by the pin below. The cable can be pushed or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are as close to the pin contacts as possible and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection. A patent pending design enables conductors to be cut flush with the end face of the connector when used with the FT-45 tool.
- Conductors trimmed to the correct length by the tool – no measuring
- Eliminates wasted connectors due to incorrect assembly
- Verify conductor order before crimping
- Single piece design
- Feed-thru modular plugs simplify twisted pair assembly process
- 3 Pin IDC contact, 50 micron gold plated, secured in place – no loose pins in the package
- Conductors fully seated above pin contact, no opens due to a short/misaligned conductor

These EZ Cat5e connectors are great. They allow the verification of the wire order prior to crimping. I use a standard crimp tool. But with the EZ tool, also sold at , the crimp and trim is completed in one action.

Pass through ends are a must for me as the old eyes get tired.

I have used these plugs in my office net and they are wonderful compared to the older Rj-45 plugs that are blind ending and the wires always seem to misalign when inserted into the plug. I highly recommend them.

Not a single connector loss as was able to verify the 8 ethernet wires that pass through the connector, corrected a few before the connector was crimped and excess wire trimmed off with tool

Like it says, wires go all the way through so you can be sure they are in the right order and the contacts will bite all the wires. Reduces recrimping and bad connections.

Using these plugs makes it much easier to verify that the wires are in the right order.

I have used these plugs in my office network and they are excellent. Easy to use and save a lot of trouble trying to get the wires thru the plug in the proper order. Work much better and easier to use than the older blind ending Rj-45 plugs.

A modular plug you can feed excess wire through instead of trying to cut them all evenly and hopefully get them all into the right slots.

These are great I had to run some cable in my home for my office. This was used to fix some poor terminates work for other cables in my home as well. I bought these because the wires pass through them to make it easier to see. I do recommend getting the tool that is recommended on the package because it works flawlessly. It’s a bit pricey but well worth any headache.

These plugs are a terrific aid for my weakening eyesight. Making up ethernet cables is a challenge, with the way the individual conductors are color coded. I would typically waste three or four plugs before I got it right. with the Feed Thru facility, I can pull through enough of the conductors to verify that the colors are in the correct sequence before crimping. If not, it is easy to pull them out and reinsert.

Pass-through feature

Gives you the ability to easily see wire order before crimping.

Very easy to use. Wires pull through for inspection of placement before crimping and removing extra wire with tool.

Rj45 Modular Plug is easy to repair Cat 6 Ethernet wiring male ends. Solid wiring is best and these are not recommended to fix most stranded purchases. You need the correct crimp-er tool.

I’m needing to clean up the cables in my home office and I can no longer use the standard RJ-45 plugs. These make it so easy to build/repair the cables I need to.
I’ve only found two small problems with them, but not enough to lower the star rating. First, you have to make sure you allow for extra cable because you will burn a few inches for each connector. Second, they are CAT5e, which is normally not a problem. However, I had a few CAT 6 cables so I was unable to repair them.
Yes, I would recommend them.

These pass through plugs are very simple and easy to use. They also make bad connections due to incorrect wire length much less likely. Make sure you have the appropriate tool. You need a pass-thru plug style crimper that trims the wires as it crimps the end on. Good value.
