I really like the length of this cable. Also, it had a fabric sort of texture and is supposed to hold up so it’s not crushed or damaged. Time will tell. But so far I am very satisfied!

It’s a cord and it works. Actually that’s why I’ve switched over to only buying Anker phone cords, because they are the only ones I’ve found that just work and don’t die after a year or two like all the other phone cords do.

I’ve been buying Anker charging cables for years. They are so durable and last a loooooong time. I have them in various sizes. Anker doesn’t make those cables that claim to work for Apple products, then stop working when the phone rejects them. These cables work, and they work well. I’ve recommended them to people and I’ll always get my cables from Anker.

It does not fit IPad 7 , 4th generation. It just says it fits IPad 7, and they say it’s my fault. I should know they didn’t mean all IPad 7, just because they say it firs IPad 7 and I have to pay shipping both ways. It’s very hard to do returns.

Needed a new short cable for an older iphone for use with Anker car-charger – this one works perfectly and feels sturdy enough to hold up well.

This is the second cable purchased and both connections were great for about a week. Now they constantly connect, disconnect, and reconnect over and over on an endless loop to my phones with the slightest of movements. No other cables I own, including Anker ones, do this and I’ve tested to see if it was the outlet or plug itself. It’s not an issue with the phones either as they are new. This particular line (551 USB-A to Lightning Cable) from Anker is known to have these problems and I would recommend against purchasing them.

Reviews of products immediately after purchase are of limited value but this is what I can say: In my experience the place that cables most commonly fail is where the cable connects with the plugs on either end. On this cable, the reinforcement around these connections is really solid and it feels as if the wires are a heavier gauge. It really feels like this cable will be much more durable than others that I have bought. Also, Anker’s service was fantastic–this cable arrived faster than I thought was even possible. Thank you Anker.
