Eaton’s GFCI Duplex Receptacles are designed with the safety of the user in mind and are fully compliant with all the latest NEC code requirements. GFCIs provide state-of-the-art, dependable electrical shock protection, and conduct an automatic self-test periodically to ensure the integrity of GFCI protection. The devices incorporate a safety lock-out feature that protects against mis-wired line-load connections that can cause damage to the GFCI circuitry. In addition to being tested to the highest standards to help ensure safety, GFCIs will deny power and prevent re-setting if the device is no longer able to provide safe, protected power.
- Slimmer design for easy installation, leaving more room for wires in the box
- Automatically self tests periodically to ensure GFCI protection
- GFCIs incorporate lock-out functionality to protect against mis‑wired line‑load connections and GFCI circuitry damage
- Wider button wells for easy TEST and RESET
- Intuitive LED status indicators for trip and end of life states
- Clean, modern industrial design with reduced top housing markings and neutral text direction on buttons
- Automatic grounding system eliminates need for bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosure, provides redundant measure of ground continuity where jumper is used

After installing the GFI receptacle , I immediately regretted it. The test and reset buttons are pieces of junk. When I tried to reset the GFI, the button went sideways and stuck in the depressed position. I had to move the switch back and forth to get the button unstuck. The buttons on the original GFI were black and red. The new GFI has 2 buttons that are the same color as the plug slots so you can’t tell the function of the buttons.

This company does not include instructions. When you use their QR code for instructions on their product, you get sent to their listing of 427 different products. When you finally track down this product, there still are no instructions. I finally found instructions on YouTube. Also, this outlet is very wide so you have to wrap the screws in electrical tape if you have a metal box or you will get a short. I will not buy a product from this company again.

Had I read the dang thing like I should have instead of wiring like normal it would have been a breeze! Everything wrong with these, was on me!

I wired this recepitcal Just like the one that I removed only to luckily realize it was not set up the same. The labels on the back were correct, I just didn’t read them. My fault for thinking all Cfi’s are made the same.

The product was, in fact, white. There were 3 of them. They were 15amp and 125 volt. They worked as expected. Hooked it up and current flows. In 20 years I can tell you if it’s good or not.

Good product. Was pretty easy to install. There was a color selection and this ones perfect. The ground fault switch is a little hard to push, though.

First one that I bought had a bad outlet. One worked, the other did not. Went and exchanged it and the new one was fine. Poor quality control and the trips to lowes to replace cost as much as the outlet did. 🙁

Works fine once you figure out the wiring

I don’t have the product and therefore do not know whether I like it or not. Unfortunately, said it would deliver on July 2nd but it is July 3rd at the end of the day and we still have not received the product. I even called the store today in the afternoon and was told that the product had not arrived. I guess one question is why is asking me to write a review when the company knows r should know I haven’t received it yet?

Works well once I connected the wires to the correct inputs.

Plug in electronic devices and they receive power

Totally different than the ‘old’ GFCI, but wired the same. When installed you have to push the reset button before it will work.

The product was easy to install. GFCI’s need to be connected with the load connected to the correct terminals in order to function properly. This product was easy to install because the terminals where clearly marked on the back. Furthermore, I liked the clean and modern design of the plug, The test and reset buttons Work well, and are easy to push even with my fat fingers.

I like that there is no green status light when it has power. Test and reset are easy to use. The were loud of versions to choose from.
