It works well. Might seem overpriced but works good.

Master electrician here. Eaton makes many great products, but they really dropped the ball on this one. I’ve had 3 of these fail on me in the last month, causing me callbacks, made me look bad, and most importantly wasting my time and money! Don’t waste your time with this trash, stick to Leviton or pass and Seymour if you need a dual function receptacle. The Eaton general receptacles are ok but these DF ones are junk!

I purchased this to protect the bathroom and hallway outlets from an upstream outlet. The installation was incredibly straightforward and I got it right on the first try. The plug seems durable and the plate coming with it is a nice plus. It is a good idea to have a contactless voltage detector for safety making sure the power is actually off and to make sure you are connecting the line and load on the correct pins. You just never know how badly the previous outlet may have been messed up on an old house like mine! 🙂

I had to return it because it did not function properly. It kept popping the circuit breaker. I would say The quality control is not very good.

Bought this to replace an old GFCI that no longer worked. Easy to install, particularly liked the indicator lights to monitor circuit status at a glance.

My existing GFCI in the kitchen was starting to trip so I decided it needed to be replaced. I looked around and decided to go with this one that had more features (AFCI). Itwas veryeasy to install and it has built in light indicators that let youknow when there is a problem.

This is a simple outlet to install, and the instructions provide clear directions on the various configurations.

Loved how easy it was to install and it looks great once your face plate is on

The product functions well – I.e no popping like some reviews mentioned. But 2 major flaws
1. Contact openings are not really standard. Instant pot would not plug in easily. This was the main reason we had to replace this with a Leviton. Have never had issues with outlet pins with Legrand, Leviton.
2. Terminal screws to hold the wires are poor quality. We had a tough time removing the outlet as the thread on the screw holding the neutral line wire just wouldn’t turn. And after we removed it would not turn to tighten.
