worked great for a few months. really only had the same 2 things plugged into it most of the time so it wasn’t like I was constantly plugging and unplugging things, but one day I went to plug something in and it wouldn’t go in. eventually with an insane amount of wiggling and working, I can force a plug in. that’s on the top plug, and the bottom one is starting to do the same. never had an issue with a plug like this before. it’s very frustrating.

Why didn’t someone think of this before! Our new USB outlets (this is our 5th one) are very functional and attractive. They help to clean up our outlet areas by removing the need for the big charger plugs. This, in turn, frees up an additional outlet for other uses. Also, they easily charge 2 devices at the same time with no problem. We love our new USB outlets!!

Only reason it did not get 5 stars is the fact that it takes a good bit of effort to plug things in due to the tamper resistant outlets, other than that, it works great.

This is easy to install and a must have with all the new electronics. Never install without shutting off power first.

I have used all of tjis series of outlets in 3 houses over the past 3-4 years. this time, one GFCI had to ne returmed as the outlet would not accept the plug; a second GFCI with jsmi slots would not charge either of the 2 mobile phones. at $23-25 per unit, you woild think a company like Eaton wohld not cheapen it to save a few pennies on their dollar. one more outlet may have an issue, but I am giving it a week. very sad
