I originally bought 2 of these for my daughter’s tiny house. After installing them I decided I would buy 8 more to put in our house as well. They work amazingly well on our Oculus Quests keeping them full power while plugged in and charging them super fast when they are not. Very convenient. I can see my wife and I replacing every receptacle in the house with these.

Great receptacle. Also comes on 5A USB. Makes sure what you intend to plug into the USB, is rated for the charge rate.

This device worked well, was easy to install as long as the electrical box in which you were installing is large enough for it. I tried to install this near my daughter’s desk in an old smallish existing metal box. Once I reset the breaker, it tripped because the black terminal was touching the box side. It did install fine on two other boxes in the house and I suppose I could have used tape to cover the screw but that didn’t seem safe.

Spendy? Somewhat. Large and somewhat difficult to install into a wall box? Sure.
That said, if you’re looking to charge tablets and other high-drain USB items from a ‘hybrid’ outlet like this, this is one of the best available. Most others I come across offer no more than 3.6A through the USB charging ports. 5A seems a little better suited for my iPad and baby monitor. I’ve added these to three rooms in the house already; if the price were just a bit lower, I’d probably continue doing so throughout the remaining rooms.

Great quality and easy install. Only caution – some plugs, like flat extension cord plugs, will cover the USB ports so you can’t use them. I have some other USB outlets with the USB ports on the sides. They seem to accommodate more plug styles without covering the USB ports.

This plug holds well and charges great through usb. It’s so convenient being able to charge usb so easily without converter.

As others have mentioned is big and is tough to squeeze in if you have lots of wires or a small box. Only has 2 hots and 2 neutrals instead of 4 each as most other dual plug outlets. Lack of direct connect daisy chain options forced be to do extra splices in the box, causing even less space available to get it in the box. Finally got it in, 120v plugs work AOK but both USB ports are dead and work with nothing. And no it’s not the usb cable… tried multiple working cables and different types of devices and all fail. A heck of a lot of effort to get this only to find the USB plugs do not work at all.

Good product, just a very large back. So make sure you have room.
