I have two of these in my kitchen and several in other locations. All have worked great. I’ve had one or two devices that didn’t draw enough power to trigger the USB outlet to charge – but that’s not an issue with the outlet. I usually have my fitbit and my iPhone, or my iPad and my iPhone charging regularly – and also charge my portable emergency batteries before I travel for work or pleasure. They charge very quickly; the outlet stays cool – no issues whatsoever. Great product and getting ready to buy a few more. 🙂

Purchased this for guests to charge their devices when visiting. Easy to replace existing wall receptacle with dual USB charging ports and you don’t loose the use of a dual wall receptacle Charging is fast.

I bought a different brand first and the USB plugs didn’t work even though the 110v plugs did. This one worked flawlessly. The only thing I did not really like with this plug is it has pigtails and wire nuts where I prefer screw terminals.

I have 4 of these throughout my home, and i always talk my clients into installing some during remodels.
I like that they leave you with two plugins, others ive seen dont.
Easy to wire and very convenient.

I am a licensed electrician, and I was so pleased with this choice. I’ll start with the quality, excellent! For the same cost as a non-commercial, I have this high quality device. Wiring it was great. It is self contained with tails instead of screws. So quick and easy to install. It will be the only outlet/USB I ever buy in the future.

I’ve installed several of these in our living areas and bed rooms. They are awesome receptacles. I have installed about 6 of them and have had no issues in the past 3 years.

Moved into a new hose and found ourselves always looking for those darn charges. Installed 3 of these in various rooms and problem solved. Installation was easy. Not quite a inexpensive as I would have liked. The add-on ones are cheaper, but these look nicer.

My spouse and I keep a USB charger in the kitchen. That’s a lie. We USED to keep a charger in the kitchen, now we keep this. Our family/guests just bring a cable (if one of the many we have don’t fit) and plug it right in.

The USB ports stopped working. The regular outlets still work fine. I purchased this outlet (spring, 2016) long before it was actually installed (early 2017). The USB ports were working fine until recently, spring 2018. The warranty is for one year only.

I purchased two of these, the first failed within two weeks. the 120V outlets still work, but both USB ports failed. So I purchased a replacement unit and fitted it. The new unit stopped working within two weeks.

Of course I just “assumed” that a cover plate would be included in the package. Yes I understand you can clearly see it is not but did not even cross my mind that it needed another one. Was too excited to buy it up, zoom home and install it before Wife got home from work. Christmas present, well almost. Now have to drive back to town another 30 miles and get a cover plate.

Rather than utilizing screw connectors like most outlets this plug uses wire nuts attached to three wires to complete the connection. Bad design.

Recently replaced my Eaton USB receptical with a different brand after the USB charging outlets failed after 18 months of use. When I pulled out the Eaton unit it was significantly warm to the touch even though nothing had been plugged into the 115 outlets or the USB ports for many hours. Can’t imagine why there was enough current draw to cause so much heat with nothing plugged in.

These seem to work OK, but do have issues. My biggest problem with them is that they are required to be wired in with wirenuts. Unlike the Legrand version, there are no screw connectors on the back.
Second, they do seem prone to failure. Before discovering other brands, I put about 10 in my house, and 2 have failed.
These are a neat idea, but other manufacturers have better versions.
