So, you want yet another app on your phone to control that random smart plug? Then, by all means, buy this Eaton socket. Yep. you have to use their app to control their switch. Who cares if you have multiple smart plugs from other manufacturers, certainly not the fine folks at Eaton.
Can someone please tell me the rationale for always having stuff that is proprietary and non-compatible?
