I received the Geeni OUTDOOR DUO Dual Outlet Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug in exchange for my unbiased review of the product. This is a indispensable product if you like to do outdoor work in the yard or in the garage. Extends the extension cords, so that they do not have direct tension pulled on the cord. Also creates another outlet, which is always needed in the yard. Love this little doodad.

I got this plug for our backyard. I saw that it was wifi capable so I took a chance on it. Im so glad I did. I use it for my traeger grill. If I want to get the grill hot on my way home I know I can do it now with this plug 10 minutes from home. I can’t wait to use it during Christmas as a timer for our Christmas lights.

I purchased this smart plug, so I would have the ability to turn my pool tarp pump on in the winter, as well as the pool cleaner wirelessly in the summer. The app was easy to download, and connected to my geeni plug instantly. The geeni outlets are not labeled outlet 1 and outlet 2, so when the app asks you to name your outlet you have to guess. A simple 1 and 2 above each outlet would have helped. I plan on purchasing a few more, as I like the fact I can control them independently of each other.

This is my fourth plug and I love them all. I have them set to control the lights on my porches and my back yard. I really like the feature that you can set them to come on at sunset and off at a specific time or at sunrise. You do not have to keep making adjustments to the time to compensate for Daylight Saving Time twice a year. The switch on the plug controls both plugs at the same time. You must go to the app on your phone to control the lights separately. This is not a problem for me, I just thought it would be helpful to know. I like that the blue light stays on to let you know that it is connected to the WiFi. Also, be sure you touch the Chinese or Japanese symbols to set them individually on your Smartphone. It took me a minute to figure that out. The only cons I have for this plug is that I wish the cord was a foot longer and it would be nice (like everyone else has said) if the plugs were numbered 1 & 2 or A & B. However, I really like Everything else about these plugs. I am sure, after Geeni reads these reviews, the next generation of plugs will be clearly marked 1 & 2 or A & B.

I’m just going to straight up say this is an amazing device! As someone who loves to decorate but who hates the plugging in and out of the cords this device is a life saver. I decorate at home and when we take our camper out. I am known to put up several lights and depending on the holiday even do extra lighted things. I’ve tried several of the timed ones and can’t seem to keep them working – especially if your doing this outdoors. But having an app to turn things off and on is fantastic! I’m like Google turn on the lights and wham there they are!!!

We are so happy with our new smart outdoor plug. It is super easy to connect with the app and connect it to your Alexa device or google of course. We have the Alexa and it’s so convenient and easy. Right now we have it set up to an outdoor light above our grill. But we can’t wait to use it for our Christmas lights. It’s very durable and has the protection plugs to keep from the weather if you aren’t using both outlets. Definitely recommend!
