Would be nice if there was some sort of protection on the sides of the GFI outlets. If you have a switch, another outlet or an old fashion mettle box there is always a risk of short and its a pain to have to wrap each GFI outlet wit electric tape.

Quality outlet at a competitive price. Have bought and used several of these in bathroom remodels with no failures. My only complaint is not with the outlet itself but with the matching gray cover plate. only stocks the gray cover plate in the “Standard” size. Sometimes I need the “Jumbo” size like they stock in other colors.

I purchased this to replace an existing outlet in which one of the ground openings had a piece of plastic broken off in it. It installed in the same location as the existing unit with no issues. Depressing the test button cause it to fail, just as it should. Installation was as easy as expected. It took longer to find the correct circuit breaker to turn off than to change out the outlet.

I purchased these outlets to go with my oil rubbed bronze faceplates, and they look nice together. It’s an outlet, and it serves it’s purpose. What else can you say? Vg

I worked well. The outlet is meant to be installed ground pin facing up. If you install ground pin facing down like the existing outlet orientation then the input and the load terminals will be reversed.

I bought this receptacle to update my outside outlets, my box is brown and this matches well. Best thing I like about the receptacle id the LED lights letting me know everything is functioning well or it has a fault.

Picked this up to help a nephew to finish an outlet installation near his sink. Contractor had installed the wall box and wiring, but then left to work on another house and claimed to come back within 2-3 days. 3 weeks later, still no work completion. I visited one afternoon, we went to choose color he wanted, read instructions, installed within 15 mins. Tested and now he feels safer with his shaver by the sink ! His comment… Yay Unk!

I installed this outlet in my kitchen because the old GFCI had been there since the house was built in 1994 and it kept tripping randomly. This one works great with the added tamper proof plug.

I had very few issues getting this plug installed. I’m not an electrician, but after reading the directions, it was very straight forward. It has been a few weeks since it was installed and it hasnt failed is yet!

Renovating our basement for our daughter on a tight budget. I needed a GFCI plug for by their sink and this was the most inexpensive one available. Price matters this time. We will see in a month or so how well it works.

I has been an electrician for 21 years and in my opinion there really is no need in spending big money on a GFI outlet when they all do about the same. True a higher priced outlet may last longer but that would all depend on the number of times it needs reset. Once again this is just my opinion!!
