The IDEAL RTQ XR series of F connectors offer a single connector solution to cover a range of coax types, including Plenum rated versions. A patented compression sleeve design allows regular (dual), Torx, and Quad shield cables all to be terminated within a single connector. All RTQ connectors have an all brass exterior and an inner O-ring to provide a robust, weather proof connection suitable for just about any application – indoors or outdoors.

If your terminations are outside, the 92-650/651 are the only connectors to use. They work perfectly with Commscope trishield direct burial, dual shield and quad shield RG-6. Other Ideal connectors with color markings are not weatherproof according to Ideal’s line card. For outside connectors, use a bit of dialectric grease inside connector nut before securing to provide a totally weatherproof connection.

These are used for RG6-QS (Quad Shielf) Cable, you cannot use the regular RG6 terminators on QS cable they don’t fit. The older style terminator with the Blue marking where a bit less lengthy. I preferred those as these terminators are a bit long and make the coax cable harder to bend.
