The connectors on the back provide no indication of what pin they actually connect to and are labeled with multiple wire color indicators so it’s pretty much trial and error getting them right. Once you’ve figured it out and noted the correct pinout the product works well.

So far so good. It’s only a few weeks old but it’s working well.

Use with a “port” wall plate to add an ethernet jack to a wall.

If you can put a plug on an Ethernet cable, you can install this wall jack. The pins on the jack are a little small and are prone to breaking if you push too hard or at any sort of angle, but the more you have done this before the easier it is. These jacks simply pop right into the ports on cover plate, and you’re all done.

The package says 2× but there is only one jack included.

I’m NOT an IT guy, but I AM a DIYer. For what it’s worth and for what I use it for, I recommend this jack. Its wire slots hold tight and the included cap secures everything even better. Data transfer speeds are as expected for my connection (I use a gigabit system). It also plugs in easily to any attachable wall outlet plate.

Easy to install. Stinks that you have to use the $30 tool for best results (especially if you have other crimpers). Fast and convenient.

No issues whatsoever with installing this jack. It snapped into the Legrand wallplate easily. Make sure you have a jack on the other end of this or you’re punching into a keystone on the other end instead of a normal CAT5e/6 connector or else you’ll be left with a crossover cable and you’ll run into network dropout!
