used to carry these with a white light bar, and they were the BEST on the market! Variable intensity, a true 6k light to match what most customers/homeowners use these days – it was the BEST!
As usual, they did what was expected and discontinued this product. I found these online, thinking they were the same, and bought 6 for over $125. Once I installed the 1st one, I couldn’t figure out at first what was wrong? The light color was dim, as if it was incorrectly hooked up. The customer even told me when testing it that night in the dark, they couldn’t even see their hand with it on the highest setting.
It wasn’t until the next day I noticed the box and order descr. said “Amber light.” This is the poorest selection for nighttime lighting, as it casts an orange glow, basically making it invisible (that’s why they use infared – one more step up the light spectrum – for invisibility at night).
Awful design thought (orange light), wasteful production, and thoughtless marketing.
This item is useless, and vastly overpriced as such.

Even at its brightest setting, the light is very dim.

I switched out our night lights that have standard blue LEDs for the amber. Amber does not disrupt sleep patterns. The adjustable levels make it easy to tune the light level depending on the location.

This is the 2nd time I am purchasing this item. I recently completed a bathroom renovation and really liked the the night light feature.

They don’t use a lot of power, they probably cost 20 US pennies to run 24/7 all year, but it does bother me that they don’t turn off unless I shine a flashlight directly at them. I have one installed below a 1000 watt equivalent LED ceiling light in the kitchen, but the night light sensor apparently can’t see it. That one and the others I have are all on external walls facing in. None of them get enough light to automatically turn off.
You may not wanna buy these if you don’t have outlets that are aimed at a window. I’m gonna keep em myself, but I do wish their auto-off light was a little more sensitive. Basically any light but their own should cause them to turn off!

Bought this primarily to use as a night light. No shutter used (available with product to reduce brightness) and still very little light in my Master bath. Waste of money.
