I bought these two cords specifically for their longer length. I use the 6′ at my bedside and the 10′ in the family room.I plug them into a USB wall receptacle (see Model #TU2153A-W on ).to supply charging power. The long length reduces the strain of pulling and so they last longer than other replacement cords.

Two major issues with these cables. First, the lightning connector does not stay tightly connected to the phone. So when you use the phone while charging without your knowledge the charging would have stopped (due to loose connection) or the cable may fall off from the phone.
Second, the charging is extremely slow (e.g it took 15 mins to increase the charge from 30% to 35%). It is worse if you have any music playing while the phone is charging, the charge may go backwards!.
This isnt just one cable, both 6ft and 10ft cables have the same issues.
These MILINk cables are cheap both in cost and quality.

One of them broke after the second day I had it. It wasn’t charging so I wiggled it to get it to work then it broke off in my phone.

It says that it is compatible with iPhone 8, but it’s not. I’m aggravated.
