The CAB-1004KV1 is a 100 ft. Class 2 In-Wall Rated Video and Power Extension Cable that is compatible with all Night Owl DVRs. While this cable can be used in conjunction with any DVR system, it is required for our 4K wired DVRs. The design of this cable makes communication between the camera and DVR much smoother and far less susceptible to video degradation. The cable extends the range of any Night Owl BNC wired camera and comes equipped with a BNC-to-BNC adapter to connect your existing cables. I made the mistake of trying a cheaper cable. Even though it said it was for HD cameras, its image was horrible. This cable is very superior! Sharp image. Don’t waste your money on cheaper cables. You will end up buying this cable. You will not regret this purchase.

This cable is much longer than what I need (100`). It would be nice if lengths between the standard 60` and this 100`were oavailable, but this will work and I realise the economy from standardization and limiting options.

I purchased this about 6 weeks ago and set it up in one day due to figuring out where to route the wires. I did have to purchase a 100 ft wire which came quickly. I wished they would have included at least one or two 100 ft wires with the 8 camera system. As for the setup, it was almost as easy as plug-and-play. So simple. The quality and remote accessibility is great. I enjoy watching my home while at home or away. Great product.

They do what they are meant to do. I wish there was different lengths because on some cameras I only needed 10ft extra and have and extra 50 left.

I’m looking forward to extend 2 of my camaras and I have 2 extension cables already but not purchase the from night owl. if i use them would they damage my night owl camara since is not your brand?

Easy to install and get set up. Does everything they said it would and the quality of the recording is great. Even picked up a jackrabbit running from 1 camera to the next 2 at 4 in the morning with great detail. Would but this again.
