Pretty standard coax with a fairly thick center conductor wire. The manufacturer provided a full 18 gage wire as advertised. Works fine without any perceived drops in quality. The ends are plastic molded, which alleviates side strain directly on the coax at its weakest point, but may not be as durable as a factory steel crimp over time. Threads appear to be cut a bit shallow when viewed close up, but they work fine for maintaining a solid connection.

I have used 15 foot, 25 foot and 100 foot cables and all work great, low noise and low losses. Measure your needed length and select the length that will suffice. the installed connectors are more efficient than adding them yourself to bare cable and if the cable is too long you can coil up the excess and not see any loss. I use white to reflect the sun in San Antonio. If used outdoors they must be protected from the weather though.

Like almost all Utilitech products, this was junk and faulty. I am adamantly opposed to wasting money on any more Utilitech items. needs to reconsider it as their default ‘value’ brand.

I’ve been running Cat 5e ethernet cable for many years as I prefer hardwire over wifi. I decided to replace all the Cat 5e ethernet cables with Cat 6 cables, then I upgraded the old coaxial cable with this new Rg6 cable. This will enable even faster data transfers and have extra protection against background noise and electromagnetic interference. I wrapped the connection from the Rg6 cable connection with electrical tape just incase it were to come in contact with something metal. I noticed a significant increase in the clarity and quality of streamed movies!

Installing this cable is simple and I’m getting several local channels for free!
I have the 100 foot cable length. I hooked it up to my old tv antenna, through the attic and connected it to my smart tv. Perfect picture and over 10 local channels for free!
Standard connections (pictured) that screw directly into my tv.
I live in a rural area and it is expensive with few options for tv and internet. Because of this cable I now have great, free tv.

The Utilitech 25-foot F-Type RG6 Coaxial Double-Shield Cable in black is a very well made item that can be used to connect your TV or audio receiver to cable outlet up to 25 feet away. The connectors are nickel-plated and connect to the cable wall outlet and TV smoothly and firmly without the need of any tools. The cable is both flexible and of a high quality. The product packaging also informs the buyer that this cable is intended for indoor use only and carries a warning not to use this particular type of coaxial cable in wet areas or inside of a wall.

I used this cable to replace an existing one from my den to the bedroom. My old cable was having issues with pixelization and dropped audio and my biggest challenge involved going into the crawl space in order to remove and replace the old cable but I did first verify this cable would solve the problems by testing it inside the house.
This seems to be a high quality cable and I am very pleased with the results as the signal is now clear. I would have taken photos but there really nothing photogenic for this type of repair.

I purchased this cable to replace a cable that got pulled and broke the cable. First one I bought would not go into my tv which was odd, till i noticed they used a end that had no thread cut to screw the coax with. So back across town, had to convince returns that it was supposed to be cut which they refunded, got a like cable, verifying the cable ends were put on properly, reran new cable and was watching tv in 15 minutes. Overall alright cable other than quality control at plant.
